Sensory stimulation for puppies

Litter K has just undergone its first sensory stimulation session, all under the watchful eye of the wonderful Natalia 🥰 Dogs, like humans, learn through experience. However, unlike humans, they lack imagination, so we need to show them everything ourselves. Natalia Szablikowska has kindly agreed to share her knowledge about stimulation and guide our litter. Here are a few words from her on the topic

"Sensory stimulation is a method of working by providing stimuli that activate various senses in the body. By using multisensory methods, we simultaneously develop dogs' senses of balance, coordination, as well as smell and taste—thanks to the use of food motivation. The primary goal of early sensory stimulation is to increase the puppies' body awareness and reduce stress associated with the appearance of new, unfamiliar stimuli in the environment. Confident puppies have better conditions for proper growth and development. The musculoskeletal system of dogs with high body awareness is less prone to developmental defects and, in the future, to injuries during various physical activities. Moreover, early sensory stimulation provides puppies with skills that help them cope with everyday stressors after leaving the breeder."

We highly recommend Natalia to anyone interested in this very important, yet still new, topic of sensory stimulation in Poland. Below is a link to her Instagram where you can learn even more about her work!
